Florals for Fall

Hi everyone! Despite the fall showers we’ve been experiencing in the Midwest lately, it’s so beautiful to see the trees turn into different shades of red, orange, and yellow. Florals are traditionally worn during the spring and summer, but you can absolutely wear them during cooler months. You can opt for darker tones or layer your summer florals with fall wardrobe staples like tights, jackets, cardigans, and boots. Designers such as Bands of Outsiders, Blumarine, Elie Saab, Louis Vuitton and Thakoon all featured floral prints in their Fall 2014 collection.

FYI: This romper runs big, so you may want to order a size down if purchasing online.

Thanks for reading!

  1. Too cute! Well, I should say Very nice! Ahhh, to be young again…… (with eyes closed dreaming). Love the look. Love the boots. I took your advise on the leopard flats, and I must say I feel better about wearing them now. Thank you so much. Ok you are now my fashion stylist. :-). So I have another question; I purchased a pair of boots from Nordstrom.com, called ..Mia ‘Vine’ open front boot, Item #762859. They are completely open in the front with a 14″ shaft and a peep toe. It was an impulse buy. This romper would look nice with them, but I am too old to wear a romper. Any other suggestions? Please help…..
    Thank you,
From an older lady who thinks young 🙂

    1. Thanks Linda! I’m glad you feel better about wearing your leopard flats. The Mia Vine boot is fabulous. It’s more of an edgy style, so I would recommend wearing it with a loose fitting dress that can be cinched at waist. I think this black zip-front shirtdress from banana republic (item ##183200) or this textured long sleeve shift dress from Nordstrom (Item #821369 and this similar design in cranberry…Item #982029) would look great with it. Please let me know which style you decide to go with and I would love to see a picture!

      1. Thank you so much!!! I love the Nordstrom long sleeve shift dress. I was really lost with what to wear. I could do so much with this dress. And it doesn’t look that short. When I get it and dolled up I’ll take a picture!! Thank you again. You’ve started something. ..What is the cost of your fashion advise? So many women need people like you. 🙂 Thanks again.
