A new approach to shopping

October 17, 2019

Hi everyone,

I have had my blog now for almost 5 years, and although I do take breaks from time to time, I always return to it. Like I have said in previous posts, this is my creative outlet. A way for me to share my passion for writing and fashion with others. Through the years, I have accumulated a lot of clothes and most of them just sit in my closet untouched. The clutter created by unworn or rarely worn clothes was starting to bother me. I knew I needed a change.

I first heard about Rent The Runway back in 2016. From my understanding, people utilized them to rent dresses for special occasions or events. Although I was aware of the company , I still preferred to buy dresses for special occasions. When it was time for another function, I would buy a new dress because my previous ones were already photographed and shared on social media. It was a vicious cycle and I just wanted a break from it. My first rental with RTR was this beautiful floral jumpsuit. The whole process was very easy and they even give you the option of renting a different size at no additional cost. When it arrived, I was so impressed with my experience and the quality of the clothes that I signed up for their unlimited membership the following day.

I have now been a RTR unlimited member since 2018 and I am happy to announce that I am one of their ambassadors. The best part of the unlimited membership includes access to thousands of designer clothes and you get to keep them for as long as you want. Once you are ready for new clothes, you swap them for new ones. You also have the option to purchase whatever items you want at a discount price. I have been very happy with my experience and would like to share it with you all. If you would like to join RTR, use my code RTRFAM132350 to get $100 off your first two months of their unlimited membership ($50 off each month).

Thanks for reading!
